27 Jul A designer’s diary: Home Office Tranquility
All the blues
In this blog series ‘A Designer’s Diary’ we highlight our interior designer’s thoughts and inspirations. This week Melissa shares with us her mood board, a tranquil home office that has us feeling blue – and in a good way!
Whilst blue can be associated with sadness it can also provide a feeling of calm and tranquility. Colours can have an immediate effect on our emotions and so to surround yourself in a colour that can actually reduce stress levels is never a bad idea – especially in a work environment!
Calming and clutter free this home office is sure to encourage a productive day
The timeless USM Haller storage unit neatly stores paperwork and office supples and Vitra’s toolbox keeps a clean and tidy desk.
Walter Knoll’s FK desk chair adds a refined element to the interior and allows for long-lasting comfort (essential to any working environment) and Zeitraum’s Rail desk with a walnut finish adds a certain rawness to create balance.
