08 Dec New Quartermile Show Apartment

We’re continuing our work with Quartermile in furnishing the stunning luxury show apartments.  Our most recent apartment is in the City Meadow area which is the latest phase of the development to be released.

The living area is filled with beautiful pieces from some of our favourite manufacturers. Keeping the colour scheme fairly neutral with hints of darker colours, the room comes together very nicely (even if we do say so ourselves!)

The room exudes both traditional and contemporary design, creating a design equilibrium.  Contemporary in nature, the Charles sofa and coffee table from B&B Italia take a somewhat traditional form yet work beautifully with the off-set Glimmer rug from Kasthall which is a little less conventional.  The Spin floor light from Flos complements this setting nicely.

We take every opportunity to showcase and discuss the recently re-launched Drop chairs from Fritz Hansen.  Style and comfort balance perfected.  And what’s one without the other…? The Analog table in that beautiful American Walnut allows for a lovely contrast with the lighter shade of Drop chairs.

You really do need to see these products up close to appreciate the quality and aesthetics. The Charles sofa with the bronzed frame in contrast to the lighter fabric works beautifully and is captured well in the above image.

Honing in on the Ro chair from Fritz Hansen – “A chair where you can find room for your inner space  and take a break from the hectic bustle of everyday life.”  Comfortable as well as stylish, the sand coloured Ro provides a further point of interest in the open plan living space.

The first bedroom, much like the living space, includes a number of Tangram favourites. The entire Husk collection from B&B Italia is beautiful – including the side table shown above – however the bed in particular is truly stunning.  The unique headboard is cosy and welcoming and expertly manufactured.  Also featured once more is the Self unit from fellow Italians Rimadesio, complimented nicely by the Biscuit mirror from Ligne Roset.

Bedroom 2 mixes soft fabrics with subtle touches of wood.  Pieces include: Patchwork bed from Sancal; So high back chair from Ligne Roset, Edith wooden side tables from SCP; Bonnie mirror from Zeitraum and Tab lights from Flos.
