‘The new MassimoSistema sofa-bed is a functional answer to modern spaces that are increasingly flexible and multi-functional, and to smaller sized living rooms and spaces. The sofa-bed is integrated within the large modular sofa system that makes simplicity and minimalism its strong point. The technical opening mechanism is not visible because it is completely hidden in the structure, making the sofa bed visually identical to the large two-seater version. The convertible sofa, as well as the elements in single seats, can function independently or be easily combined. It is available with medium or low armrests, and the chair and backrest cushions are integrated into the structure so that they remain attached when the bed is unfolded. The integrated tilting mechanism allows you to transform the sofa swiftly and easily into a bed, facilitated by a saddle-leather handle. The mattress rests on a 182-stave mesh base and is offered in a single pocket spring version measuring 140x200x14 cm. The cylindrical feet in black lacquered aluminium complete the structure.’
