01 Jun Project News: WEST Beer, Quartermile, The Three Chimneys

Well… 2015 has been a very busy and exciting year so far! The contract calendar has been particularly eventful with a whole host of projects of varying scales. Luckily we have our very talented Contracts Director, Sarah, at the helm steering us to success with the creation of some truly stunning interiors.

The first is the latest venture from the popular WEST Beer.  With the success of their pop-up bar last summer on Woodlands Road, WEST decided to make the location a permanent home.  We were approached by the WEST team through recommendation and given a brief to create a stylish, laid back feel for the bar & restaurant incorporating our range of contemporary contract furniture.  Out of the options discussed, the ‘This’ chairs and ‘Other’ stools from e15 and ‘Caravaggio’ over-scaled pendants from Lightyears were decided upon – and don’t they look great?

We’re also very pleased to continue our work with Quartermile Luxury Apartments by designing and supplying the interior of their latest show apartment.  3 words: location, location, location!  Situated just inches from the beautiful Meadows in Edinburgh, the south-facing apartment has an amazing connection to the outdoors.

Lots of natural materials such as oak, wools, paper and cotton were chosen drawing on the current trend for using natural finishes.  These were combined with a pared back, quiet colour scheme to create a simple and timeless interior.

Finally, as  you may know, we worked with Edinburgh interior designer Joelle Reid on the interior refurb of The Three Chimneys in Skye last year.  We specified and supplied Morph chairs and Cena tables from Zeitraum to create a relaxed and refined feel for the morning room.  This month we also supplied some additional Morph bar stools to complete the look.
