Established in 1872, furniture design company Fritz Hansen has produced some of the most well known and iconic furniture in Danish design. Today, nearly 140 years later, their key focus is still “beautiful and original design in a supreme quality”.

In 1934, Fritz Hansen – a skilled carpenter and designer himself – began his collaboration with Arne Jacobsen resulting in some classic designs including the ‘Ant’ (1952), the ‘Series 7’ (1955), the ‘Grand Prix’ (1957) the ‘Swan’ (1958), and the ‘Egg’ (1958).
