Tangram have been working with MARK Product for many years and it is a pleasure to watch the company and brand grow stronger every year.  Founded by John Miller and Anna Hart in 2008, Mark Product is based in Penryn in Cornwall which gives the company a unique DNA.  Much of the products are designed in Cornwall and many are made there too.

Our early favourite products from the collection were the Horizon screen made in solid timber which creates fabulous shadows and is a beautiful piece, the clever Spin table with its magnetic fixings and the Arris armchair with a solid timber frame and soft cushions which is fast becoming a classic.  Recent additions which we think are going to prove very popular are as follows;

‘Flag’ table and bench – a combination of slab ended tables and benches in laminate with a clever mitred joint and hardwood edge, a great idea to ensure a hardy product and available in a huge range of colours.

‘Mycroft’ Family – a family of chairs which just keeps growing with a subtle stitch detail and optional contrast piping there is lots of opportunity for designers and clients to make these chairs really ‘bespoke’.  We especially like the timber legged wing back chair…

‘Piazza’ Sofa and Bed – Sofas available in 4 sensible sizes and with a relatively high back for comfort, they also have a stitch detail to the back cushions.  The headboard of the bed also features the stitch and the result is something tailored yet inviting and soft.

‘Studio System’ – MARK’s newest product. This is a modular system available in a staggering range of options.  There are so many that the brains at Mark have made a box of bits which allows designers to mock up their requirements in 3D, what a clever idea!

This system can be used in so many different environments and is completely bespoke in terms of finish and size – we think this is going to be a big hit with our clients!
