Mid-September saw the Tangram team visit the London Design Festival which was inspirational as ever. An opportunity to escape our desks, in our Edinburgh interior design showroom, and see what's happening in the wider world. One of our favourite blogs for interior inspiration is Design Files, the perfect place to soak up some Australian design. The home of interior designer Paul Hecker caught our eye because of the beautiful mix of Scandinavian style with sleek, Italian furniture. The effect is a contemporary style that is elegant but still feels at home in a sunny, relaxed environment such as St Kilda, Melbourne.

The coolest colour to accessories with this winter is copper. This trend started a good year ago, but is still going strong and is being used by the likes of Tom Dixon and B&B Italia.
