In this blog series ‘A Designer’s Diary’, we highlight our interior designer’s thoughts and inspirations. This week’s mood board captures a minimalist interior with a focus on craftsmanship.
The space is characterised by elegance and simplicity. Wood features predominantly and a limited colour palette has been chosen to create a beautiful and paired back aesthetic .
Every object has its place and its purpose; the bare essentials – and indeed beautiful essentials they are! Carl Hansen and Son T-Chairs (released this year and named for obvious reasons) have been selected bringing a sculptural appeal with beautiful clean lines. These same clean lines are mirrored in other products such as the Gubi IOI Mirror, Marset Ginger Floor Lamp and the Bocci Armature pendant. Each element has been carefully considered, they speak to one another and form a holistic scheme.
