As we near the end of the year we look back and think of our most loved products of 2021. Chosen by the Interior Designers at Tangram, these products have stood out to the team for a number of reasons. Perhaps the product was a favourite amongst our customers, worked well in a project, or simply new this year – in each case these items are all beautiful in their own right. Discover our top ten favourites below.
The OW149 Colonial Chair was designed by Ole Wanscher in 1959 and remains his most famous design to this day. A timeless piece and superb example of craftsmanship, Colonial has featured in many of our projects over the years.
One of our most adaptable pieces, the USM Haller is an extraordinary storage solution. The modular system has infinite options and can be used as a desk, bookcase, wardrobe, nightstand, sideboard, TV console..the list goes on. Incredibly versatile and suitable in a range of settings either at home or in the office, Haller is one of a kind.
New this year the Hal Lounge chair designed by Jasper Morrison is compact, comfortable and extremely inviting. The chair and footstool recently arrived in our showroom and shortly after became a Tangram favourite.
The Heracleum pendant, in it’s new all white finish, is reminiscent of glistening snow covered branches on a wintery day. Simple, elegant, beautiful – we adore it.
The take away table. Tor is defined by its table top handle – a clever characteristic allowing the user to pick up the table at ease and move it to it’s next needed destination. Available in a range of colours, Tor is both charming and quirky.
Estadio pendant – Santa & Cole
When wow-factor is needed, Estadio pendants won’t let you down. Combining classic and contemporary, these stunning lights were recently installed in one of our projects and the result was breathtaking.
The gentle curves of the beautiful upholstered headboard paired with what appears to be a floating frame, gives Eclair a soft and informal character perfect for the modern home.
You may have noticed that Rimadesio’s Cover wardrobe system appeared on our Product Highlights blog last year – and for good reason. This exceptional storage solution is completely customisable and perfectly engineered. It is made using the finest materials with no visible screws, invisible door hinges and an internal LED lighting system. After completing a recent project featuring Cover on a particularly large scale, we are reminded again just how remarkable it is. Highly sophisticated and the epitome of luxury, it is no surprise that Cover is a Tangram product highlight for another year running.
Inspired by the famous Beatles song, the Let It Be sofa, is relaxing and welcoming. Open to infinite configurations and can incorporate storage units and shelves, Let It Be is a really lovely design.
Attenborough fabric collection – de Le Cuona
Attenborough fabrics are made from a mixture of twisted melange wool bouclé, tightly woven onto a linen base. ‘The irregular, gnarled texture of the fabric mimics rugged terrain and the rich, earthy colours recall landscapes of the natural world.’ Robust and beautiful, Attenborough is available in six gorgeous colours.
