In this blog we highlight a few standout pieces that we think would work particularly well for the hotel industry. So if you’re working on a project within this sector, this blog is for you - we hope it provides you with a bit of inspiration!
A prominent design for Tangram this year was e15’s Alde Club Chair. Whilst this would undeniably work in a residential space we also thought it would work particularly well in hotel lounge areas, guest rooms, or lobby corners where space is limited but style is non-negotiable. This compact design was really comfortable and we really liked the swivel base for added practicality. The solid wood frame is available in natural oak, chocolate brown, or dark brown finishes. Neat yet incredibly stylish.

Originally launched last year, the Bolete side chair from Andreu World stands out as something truly different. Designed by Patricia Urquiola, Bolete has a soft rounded silhouette and in true Andreu World fashion, it upholds strong sustainability credentials - crafted with responsibly sourced materials and designed for long-term use. It’s a bold yet practical choice for modern interiors and a design that we truly adore.

Continuing the chair theme, Poltrona Frau’s Lepli stood out to us for its unique shape and form. Compact with a swivel base we think this would work remarkably well in boutique hotel bedrooms.

Also new from Poltrona Frau were these unusual floor lights reminiscent of leafy trees. Each individual leaf was finished in Poltrona Frau’s signature leather and allowed for beautiful shadows to be cast on surrounding walls.

Marset’s beautiful Fragile table light has now been extended to include wall lights and suspension lights – both of which we adored. The concept of the design focuses on balancing geometric glass shapes. Timeless and adaptable to many environments, we’re excited to specify these in future projects.

The Occhio space was as impressive as you’d imagine for this award-winning lighting company. Eighteen new colours were presented as a way of injecting more personality into lighting design. The popular Mito range showcased some of these colours beautifully and reminded us just how clever these systems can be.

Bensen’s Collar chair takes on a new identity this time in the form of a stool. With it’s signature enveloping back rest offering support and comfort.

Also new from Bensen is the Plank lounge chair. Its distinctive base features three broad, flat legs, reminiscent of timber planks (hence the name) and paired with a pillowy seat. Japandi in its style and extremely comfortable, Plank is an excellent option for hotel reception areas allowing guests to relax and unwind.

A particular highlight for the team was visiting the Moroso showroom. Moroso is a brand that really understands innovation and aren’t afraid to push design boundaries. Their designs always spark conversation and intrigue – and this is exactly what happened when we visited. The coffee tables with tile tops and Clay armchairs were completely unique and really caught our attention. Great for all sorts of projects, particularly in hotels where a statement or individuality plays a strong role on the brief.

We also really liked these sweet little benches which were part of the Sedona collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola. Perfect at the ends of beds or within dressing areas.

Ideal for outdoor spaces, spas, or orangeries, B&B Italia’s Erica ’25 is the latest modular evolution of the brand’s well-loved outdoor seating system. Effortlessly comfortable and elegantly versatile, Erica ’25 introduces a wide range of elements and finishes, offering greater freedom to personalise your space. Whether you're creating a serene spa retreat or a luxurious garden sanctuary, this collection adapts beautifully to your vision.

These are of course just a selection of the many wonderful designs we saw at Salone and to whittle down to just a few items was no easy task! Regardless, we hope it has provided you with some inspiration for your upcoming hotel projects. Of course if you are looking for anything in particular or even if you just want some more ideas, our commercial team would love to hear from you. We can provide you with ample suggestions based on your brief so please don’t hesitate to reach out.
