Almendra Suspension Light – Flos
The Almendra lighting system, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Flos, is a poetic fusion of nature-inspired design and innovative lighting technology.
Taking its name from the Spanish word for “almond,” Almendra draws direct inspiration from the soft, organic forms and muted tones of the almond tree. The result is a lighting system that feels both sculptural and serene—elegant in form, yet subtle in presence.

More than just a beautiful object, Almendra was created with sustainability in mind: its components are designed to be disassembled and recycled, and the lighting elements use energy-efficient LED technology to produce a warm, diffused light that enhances atmosphere without overwhelming the space.
Each leaf-like module gently curves like a petal or almond shell, arranged in harmonious compositions that mimic the natural rhythm of branches. Available in a range of finishes including anthracite, ocher, lilac, bay blue, nude or off white. Almendra seamlessly integrates into residential, hospitality, or commercial interiors.
