We do not have a set interior style, instead we get to know our clients to develop a scheme which is not only beautiful and functional, but also reflects their personality.

Showroom Consultation
When struggling to visualise an interiors concept, we recommend a consultation with one of our interior designers in Edinburgh. Come along for a free appointment in our showroom and we’ll work with you for a couple of hours, looking at your plans and listening to your design brief. Our showroom is a place of inspiration where you can view samples and gather advice and ideas from our design team.
Home Consultation
Not sure how to get started on a project? You may wish to opt for an in-depth home visit from a member of our interior design team. This gives you an opportunity to explain your interiors project, allowing our Tangram designers to assess your space and plans. While offering advice and initial feedback on possible solutions. This visit will be followed by a showroom appointment to provide options for particular furniture needs. Or, in the case of larger projects, we will explain in detail the proposed stages of the interior design process.
Interior Design Process
Whether you are looking to redesign a single room or your entire house, we are with you throughout the entire design journey. Below we highlight some of the key stages in the interior design process to ensure each project runs smoothly, is stress free and more importantly, is enjoyable!
Interior Design Concept
The get to know you stage! Here we learn more about the space and identify your goals, likes and dislikes. By developing an in-depth understanding of your interior design aspirations, we ensure we can make the right suggestions for your project that will ultimately lead to a functional and beautiful space.
Interior Design Development
Once the project scope and design concept has been agreed, your interior designer will then start to prepare design presentations for your space. These can include furniture arrangements, options for furniture, lighting, window dressings, rugs and décor (paint and wallpaper), inclusion of any existing furniture and artwork.
To help create a clear vision and bring ideas to life, we can also create 3D visuals if you so wish.
Product Specifications and Ordering
In this stage, product fabrics and finishes are finalised. This may involve a few visits to our showroom if you require. Upon final decisions, we undertake all product ordering and manage the logistics and storage involved in coordinating your products from multiple manufacturers.
Installation and Styling
Installation – We have enormous experience in project managing the installation of furniture and window dressings. We warehouse goods and deliver to critical timescales, efficiently and professionally. Our skilled delivery and installation team have many years of experience in assembling and installing our products.
Styling – Adding the finishing touches! For a holistic and completely unique design scheme, we can source beautiful home accessories to complement your new interior. This can include cushions, throws, artwork and more, and will help instil warmth to your space. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can help dress your new interior design with your own existing treasures.
Please note that the above is just a guideline and some projects will require many more stages and planning.
Each project and our service are bespoke and fees will vary depending on the scale and scope of the project. We will always be upfront about the cost from the beginning of the design process. An initial home visit starts from £350.
