Salone del Mobile 2025: Standouts for the Home

Interior Inspiration

April marked the famous Salone del Mobile, held in the ever so stylish Milano! As you may well know, it’s been a long standing tradition of Tangram’s to go to this event as it’s the perfect opportunity for us to catch up with our manufacturers and view their latest designs.

As ever, there was a lot to see in such a short space of time, so while it may seem like a luxurious holiday for the team, every meeting was carefully planned and genuinely valuable. From previewing exciting new launches to deepening relationships with long-standing partners, the week was packed with inspiration, insight, and ideas we’re excited to share.

Here’s a brief overview of our top home-focused highlights from Salone del Mobile 2025.

One of our favourite stops was the shared showroom of Kasthall and Astrid. It’s been a joy to witness this recent collaboration—two brands we admire deeply, coming together in such a natural and complementary way. Kasthall is renowned for their stunning rugs and carpets, while Astrid is celebrated for their beautifully crafted textiles. Seeing their products so thoughtfully integrated and elegantly presented made the synergy between them abundantly clear - it just works.

We loved Kasthall’s latest design Anemon which is said to embody the spirit of spring, and that it does. Available in three versions – blue, lilac or coral, Anemon celebrates bold design and colour.

Following a very similar theme Moroso presented an unusual textile that was unlike anything we had seen. Fleecy in its texture, wacky in it’s appearance – this may not appeal to all but it certainly draws attention!

We also adored Moroso’s collection of side and coffee tables with their unique and distinctive tile tops.

Poltrona Frau have teamed up with Leica, a German company widely known for their high quality cameras and lenses. The collaboration takes shape in the form of a storage system with an integrated screen – this rises vertically from within the cabinet and pairs perfectly with the Leica Cine 1 100 projector which sits on the retractable drawer. The result is a seamlessly integrated home cinema experience when in use, and a refined, minimalist media unit when not.

We were equally impressed by Poltrona Frau’s latest addition to their collection – DressCove. A first for Poltrona Frau, this elegant system marks their entry into the world of wardrobes. True to form, they have maintained their exceptional standards of craftsmanship, incorporating their signature leather in the detailing for a finish that is both luxurious and unmistakably Poltrona Frau.

The Poltrona Frau showroom is sat within the historic Palazzo Gallarati Scotti – a remarkable building which was truly breathtaking. Alongside Poltrona Frau’s beautiful collections was a room dedicated entirely to Ceccotti Collezioni’s Teahouse collection. A showcase of tables, chairs, cabinets and consoles that took craftsmanship and skill to a level beyond exceptional.

Another standout design for us was e15’s Kaname table collection. Designed by Philipp Mainzer, Kaname is Japanese for “pivot” or “vital point” – a fitting name for a piece that serves as a central element within an interior. Available as a dining or conference table (rectangular or oval) or as a circular coffee table. The legs always remain the same with the signature pivot detail which we really loved.

Also taking inspiration from Japan and launched this year is Walter Knoll’s Sooso side table which translates to sculpture. Each table is unique - the construction is a result of a precise sequence of many individual solid wood bars.

Following the side table theme, an absolute favourite for the team were Nikari’s April tables. Whilst not a new design, they really stood out to us for being unique and playful. We really liked how the delicate and refined table top balanced perfectly on the more chunky base. Simple in many ways but also really beautiful.

Elegant in its simplicity, the Rupert sofa by Bensen is a timeless piece designed for relaxed, everyday living. Subtle detailing and clean lines give it a quiet sophistication, making it equally at home in contemporary or classic interiors. Understated, versatile, and effortlessly comfortable.

Moving onto lighting, we really enjoyed the Davide Groppi stand. There were a few statement pieces that immediately caught our attention, such as the Moon suspension light, named for obvious reasons.

But also what we were really impressed by, was the more subtle designs which has more focus on how the light interacts with the space rather than a bold and impactful aesthetic. For example, Endless was an ingenious design whereby an adhesive tape which conducts electricity can be applied to walls and ceilings allowing light fixtures to be positioned freely and effortlessly. As a result it cleverly allows light to reach more challenging spaces in a striking way.

Santa & Cole expand on their Cirio collection with the beautiful Cirio Pana. It featured fine vertical grooves and a wide cylindrical porcelain shade which was equal in height and diameter. For us, there was something really charming about this suspension light.

Original and intriguing, Luceplan revealed one of their latest designs the Posi table light which is also available in a rechargeable version. The conical base supports slender stems topped with geometric diffusers, which light up when placed in the base. Various compositions can be made ensuring the design is playful and always eye-catching.

And that’s a wrap on our highlights from Salone! We hope you’ve found a little inspiration for your own home. If any of the designs caught your eye and you would like more information, please get in touch.
